Transgirl Online is a collection of essays; stories; reports; short-form writings; audio; and other creative stuff that documents my journey transitioning, discovering polyamory, and integrating both into the comfortable life I've built for myself.

I hope something in here helps someone else become who they need to be, or understand themselves better. Or maybe just gives folks a chuckle or a thrill when they need it.

The Author

I'm Jessica Phoenix, and I spent 37 years suppressing who I was, until I just couldn't do it anymore.

I had to come out to my wife and partner of 20 years, my kids, my coworkers, and my oldest friends. Thankfully, most of them ended up being supportive and wonderful. Some of them didn't, and I'm not sure it'll ever stop burning.

I'll be writing about raising my two boys who still call me "Dad;" managing my marriage to my high-school sweetheart while exploring my own polyamory and sexuality; and everything in between.

Some things might get very spicy! That's a fun part of life, too. I'll try to tag those things appropriately!
